Cub Scout Day Camp: The Oregon Trail

Posted on May 7 2018 - 5:37pm

Get ready to travel the Oregon Trail during Cub Scout Day Camp! Join us this year along the Oregon Trail! Your scout has the chance to explore with Lewis & Clark and the frontier pioneers as they mine for gold, establish a homestead, and discover new adventures every day! Cub Scout Day Camp is our premiere weekday program for Tigers through Webelos. It gives Cubs a chance to get a taste of the camp experience and still enjoy the comforts of home at night. Day Camp is a right-of-passage for young Scouts and gives them a chance to learn the basics of camping before embarking on their next big adventure.

Pinewood Derby Build Night

Posted on Jan 5 2018 - 12:01am

The January pack meeting will be, in part, a build night for pinewood derby cars. If you can't make the Council Derby Build Day on January 13th (see the calendar for more information) and need to build a car bring your son's materials and an idea of what type of shape he'd like his car to be. These will be single cut designs... nothing overly complex can be done on this night to make sure we can help as many boys as possible. The rough cut will be done this evening and the car will be ready to take home and sand / paint / afix nails and wheels. The big race day is Sunday, January 28th, so be ready!
